Art Promotions specializes in Paintings, Prints, and Productions. It has been in business since 1989, twenty five years, initially in McLean, Virginia and in Memphis, TN since 2005.
During the early nineties, Art Promotions sponsored communityTV programming on the arts and other subjects produced by its owner, artist and producer, Karen Francis. These programs were created at FCAC, a public television access station in Merrifield, VA.
After assisting by placing the art of more than sixty artist on on another TV program weekly for many episodes as a volunteer, Ms. Francis began producing the Heart of the Matter series and arranged for the guests of the magazine style talk show, loosely scripted each episode, and served as host conducting interviews. These live to tape programs were shown usually the following week. Some of these have since been digitized for possible rerelease through other formats.
Since 2011 Karen has invested time into a YouTube channel blessings427 and explored the various platforms for media presentation online. After writing three screenplays, she counts herself fortunate to find others interrested in bringing to life the message of the third, CHRISTMAS RIDE.
In truely indie fashion, working with the cooperation of Yarbrough Media Productions, the film was cast and filming progressed beginning in the studio garage at Certified Transmissions in Covington, TN. Many details of the journey are on the film website

Sixty-eight cast members are in this film and the work of a dozen talented musicians, singer-songwriters are included.
This CHRISTMAS RIDE film was filmed in HD, edited, and also had a 2K Digital Cinema Print made for theatrical releases as well as a blu ray DVD file. It qualified as a film eligible for Academy Awards in 2015 following a week's run in Los Angeles County, CA. And it is rated PG by the Motion Pictures of America Association and Family and Faith Friendly, Ages 12+ by The Dove Foundation.
The film is ready for booking into cinemas. And a DVD is being prepared for sale. Next step will be VOD or PPV when the window for cinematic release is over.
